Can I book a ticket for my pet?

Simply add your pet as a passenger by clicking on the little paw prints (🐾) in the 'Add Passenger' window. Indicate whether your pet weighs more or less than 6 kg (13 lb) so we can assign the right type of ticket.
At this moment, it's only possible to book pet tickets:
- On our website (the feature isn't yet available on our mobile apps)
- for SNCF trains (we can’t offer them for other rail operators yet)
- while you're signed into your Trainline Europe account.
After this, you will just need to select and include your pet as a passenger while making your reservation and see that they have been assigned a ticket.
Important: for SNCF trains, animal tickets can only be withdrawn from a self-service machine in France. They are not available as e-tickets. Please click here to find out how to print tickets from a machine in a few quick steps.
