What are the features of your apps?
Our apps allow you (just like on our website) to buy European train tickets. If you already have a Trainline account, you can log in with with the same credentials (email and password, Facebook or Google+). You will of course also find your pre-booked tickets in your cart and you can purchase your tickets. Our apps are completely synchronised with our website, so you can pre-book a ticket on your phone and then complete the purchase on our website (or vice versa!)
Wait, it gets better!
Our application also serves as your travel companion. You will be notified of all of your important travel details within 20 minutes of departure. If you are departing in France, then you will also receive a notification letting you know your platform number. Lastly, for some tickets, you just need to present the ticket’s barcode (saved in the app, in the tickets section) on board. So you don’t even need to print anything!
Present your tickets on board using our apps
If you have received a SNCF, Lyria, Eurostar or Deutsche Bahn E-Ticket that can be presented on your smartphone, then all you need to do is open the ticket sections of your account, on board. From there you will be able to display the barcode of your ticket, upon inspection
