Can I use a shared email account?

We strongly recommend against using a shared email address or a mailing list address for your Trainline for Business account.

Each account is personal and corresponds to a physical person, with a first and last name, and date of birth. Creating an account with false information risks inconveniencing other members of your organisation.

We recommend that you delete any accounts that use shared email or mailing list addresses. And instead you can invite each member separately.

If you wish to have access to all the reservations of your organisation (to make a necessary exchange or cancellation for example), it's possible. You  can set yourself as a Travel Consultant (the list of roles is available right here). If this role is not available when editing the member, please contact us and we’ll add that role to your organsiation.

We can also add an email address which will be copied in all emails coming from Trainline for your orgnisation. Please contact us to set this up.
