Different sites and apps for Trainline
Trainline is a service that sells rail tickets in Europe. Our objective is to provide a one stop shop for all your train travel needs.
It’s a complex project that has brought about the fusion of two distinct services: Trainline on one side (which sells train tickets within the UK) and Trainline (which sells train tickets for continental Europe) on the other.
As of September 2016, the company once called Captain Train is now called Trainline. But in spite of our shared brand name, there are still two different services depending on whether you’re booking a journey within the UK or continental Europe. Which can be pretty confusing. This page is here to make things more clear.

We are planning on fusing both services to offer a single platform one day. Yet this may take a bit of time, so remember, patience is a virtue.
