I accidentally bought the wrong ticket!

First of all, there is no need to stress. It happens to the best of us.

Depending on your ticket conditions, you will have a variety of options. If your ticket is Semi-Flexible or Flexible ticket (you can see this information if you look at your ticket on our website or app or on your ticket confirmation email) then you can cancel your ticket and receive a refund easily.

In order to cancel your ticket, click here to find out exactly what to do.  Once you have cancelled your ticket, you can book a new one for the right day or/ time.

IMPORTANT: If your tickets are non-refundable or have a cancellation fee, then you can get in touch with us, immediately after you have made your incorrect booking. Very rarely, certain non-refundable tickets have an emergency cancellation policy. However this only applies to less than 5% of all ticket types. So please keep in mind that it is very unlikely this policy will apply to your tickets, but also, keep your fingers crossed!

My ticket is non-refundable and not exchangeable and I realised this too late!

Unfortunately there nothing that we can do. We really wish we could! The rail carriers determine the exchange and refund conditions of tickets, so we have to abide by this. For this reason it is really important to double check everything before you make your booking.

You can either choose to travel on the date you have booked or reserve a new ticket with the correct travel time. If you have a print-at-station ticket, then you can most certainly sell or give this ticket to a 3rd party.
